To read your email using the web-based interface go to www.Your_Domain_Name.com/Email
i.e.  www.Baumbach.com/Email Login using your email full address and then your password.

Outlook, Outlook Express or other email clients POP3 and SMTP email settings

Open Outlook, go to TOOLS / ACCOUNTS click on the MAIL tab, you can now edit or add a new email account.

POP3 and SMTP settings or both
mail.Your_Domain_Name.com i.e. mail.DcMetroNet.com

USERID is your fill email address, i.e. First@Domain.com Also remember passwords are case sensitive.

You must add a check mark to "My Server Requires Authentication" under the Outgoing Mail Server then click "Settings"  

 

Default SMTP port is 25, if your ISP blocks port 25 then use port 26

POP3= pop.east.cox.net
SMTP= smtp.east.cox.net

Blocks port 25 used for SMTP

Beginning Wednesday, June 25 2003 we will filter access to all 3rd party outgoing (SMTP) mail servers. Customers using 3rd party email services must re-configure their email clients to use smtp.east.cox.net to send outbound e-mail.

NNTP news server = newsgroups.comcast.net (requires login)

Verizon DSL
POP3= incoming.verizon.net
SMTP= outgoing.verizon.net

NNTP news server = news.verizon.net

DcMetroNet.com secondary SMTP (03-03-08 has been disabled) Imail now uses port 25 and port 26
SMTP= mail.Domain.com
port 26 not 25 smtpuser
